newest look of basic record editing

Postby nmeier » Fri Dec 25, 2009 15:42:13

just to keep everyone in the loop on the latest changes - here are some screenshots that discuss the why's:

First - more little popups for notes and images; the tabs for now as usual stacked if not fitting into one line.

The top panel for relationships of a person - cleaner than before - father, mother, children - if desired I could add siblings, too. It's meant to keep a better concise list of the immediate context of a person (and have a way to relate to the family information - namely marriage date)

Also - another panel for references - anything not shown in relationships will show up here - notes, image records, sources - anything that links to that person

Then, a panel for simple attributes of records - probably something we could hide per option - anything basically that's not a relationship or event

Lastly the tab for creating new events etc.

Comments appreciated.
